Once after the simple data is fed to the Permap and the location or distance map is created on the screen, we can have map evaluation which can pe done by using various test undet the Map Evaluation section in the toolbar. All of these tests have to do with the validity of the two-dimensional representation of multi dimensional data.
When we choose the attributes in the Map Evaluation section, depending upon the number of attributes the vectors are formed, one each for each attribute.
the head of the vector denotes the more positive side of the vector.
Ex:
Here the attribute vector head is near the more positive side and hence it shows that the attribute is liked by the customer. Ideally, all the objects should be aiming to reach the head of attribute vector because it shows the level of customer been satisfied by the attributes. But in general it is not possible. So
in order to make the plans to move towards the head of the vector plans are made with the hepl of Attribute Evaluation.
For Example: If the Attribute evaluation is done for store satisfaction of 4 stores and number of attributes being 6 namely
1-price
2-variety
3-organisation
4-service
5-quality
6-overall,
then the Attribute evaluation will be as shown:
Here the store 3 is more close to vector 6 and 4.
so the store 6 has more overall satisfaction and service.
